Arbonne makeup, first impression

Last Sunday, I've tried the Arbonne product that I love to try the most.. Arbonne makeup!! I've tried their primer, foundation, concealer, eyebrow pencil, mascara, eye primer and brow cream.

I prep my face with their RE9 advanced, skin care product first! yiiieee!

The primer:  I really love this primer, it's texture is like that of my Benefit Porefessional  primer, but this one is not on tube container but in a pump bottle. True to its word, it  glides on my face smoothly. It has a thin consistency,  very light weight on my face. I do have normal to dry skin, but it didn't feel dry on my face (maybe because i prep my face properly). I guess those with normal to oily or combination skin would like it too. it evens out my skin and made it foundation ready.  Love it!

The foundation:  I bought the shade"neutral beige" I'm not sure  if the shade suits me (downside of ordering foundation online👎) My sweat glands in the face works double time so I am worried about  the foundation oxidizing on me (before I discovered the primer works wonders 😊). I'm glad that the color is just right for my skintone. The foundation feels very light and not thick and creamy which is good for me, it feels so smooth and velvety, very buildable and a little goes a long way, I think I just use 2 pumps and that is enough to cover my entire face and neck.

The concealer:  I have a panda/racoon under eyes, it is not a puffy eye bags but more of a blueish-grey circle under my eye that makes me look tired. That's why I'm satisfied I choose the correct concealer shade (medium neutral) it is creamy and very hydrating, not all concealer has hydrating effect so it's a plus, and it really does the work, covers my dark circles and keeps the moisture under my eye intact. It didn't crease on me the entire day I was wearing it.

The eye primer reminds me of urban decay naked primer.. 'nuff said hehehe

Eye brow pencil!:  This is important to me, because I can go out without lippie, foundation or earrings but I've gotta make sure I have my eye brows shaped and filled or at least filled. I was born with a straight  brows so I really shape it before going out.. of course there are this times too.. that you don't feel like it!

The product glides really well, and covers the sparse hair on my eyebrows, I got the brow cream too ( brow-cara, brow gel) I always use a brow gel too usually to tame the end of my brows. I love the tiny spoolie, it comes thru the hair of my brows easily.  I've got the medium shade.

Mascara:  I have the shortest lashes in the world ( I think) so I make sure that I use a mascara that has a lengthening effect.. (falsies on! on special occasion), It made my lashes fuller, but not longer. I didn't like the mascara wand, its too big for my eyes, and for my tiny lil' lashes hehehe. But it last long and didn't smudge even if I was teary-eyed from the Pastor's message last Sunday 👍

Some little things I'd like to point out,  the foundation, dries more to matte, which is good for normal to oily, or combination skin. But for me, I've got  normal to dry and gets even drier on colder weather, I wanted a dewy finish. I hope in the next product launch they would add a variety of finish in their foundation.

For the eye brow pencil, I just hope they make the pencil is a bit thinner  so you could create that feathery(hair-like) strokes for a natural look.


Overall, I am satisfied with the products, just need some variety. This set is good for everyday makeup and for night out.

First Impression: RE9 Advanced Skin care set

It's FriYay!! 

Today, I'm just posting my first impression on the Arbonne product "RE9 Advanced Skin care set". I received it yesterday but I was down with migraine..so I just opened the box, but haven't tried the products yet.  Anyways still over the moon when I received the products yesterday.. even with that throbbing pain in my head I managed to take photos(& a crappy unfocused video) of unboxing the products 😊

Ok, so the first I've tried was the infamous RE9 Advanced skin care set. I was actually keen on buying the brightening set, but it is currently out of stock.

The packaging is sleek, the design is classy, in an old kinda'v way hehehe.. maybe I'm not just into those classy old rose/ beige kind of designs (I love the packaging of sensitive skin care set tho' 😉)

Just like any other skin care, I started with the cleanser, it is in a pump bottle, one pump is all it takes. The formula is a bit creamy, that I suddenly have to take a look at the bottle again for the directions, checking if it needs to be  rinsed off with water cause it felt like cream cleanser that you just wipe off, before it hits me that I put it on a towel-dried face 😅 saaahreeeeh! (Later I'll try to use it on a wet/damp face to check if it is foamy or what) 

Next stop, toner. It is in a mist spray bottle! It's a plus for me, cause I don't really use cotton whenever I put toner on my face, I just directly put it on my palm and pat it to my face. (that's because I use double cleansing, so I don't need cotton to check for dirt.. hehehe way too many words)  

So with this, I just spritz here and there and tap it gently on my face.

Then the facial serum, the texture is same as those Korean serum I've tried before, it is not greasy and very smooth. The difference is it absorbs quicker and disappears to the skin faster. With the other serum I've tried, I usually wait around a minute to allow it to fully absorb in my skin, before putting on my moisturizer. I would say, it is comparable to the lamer and skII (sampler hahaha) that I've tried before.  I just use one pump and it covers my entire face.

Eye cream, some uses eye cream first before serum, but for me I use serum first, just to buy time for the serum to work its way onto my skin while applying the eye cream. Well, the eye cream really moisturizes my under eye, without that thick, sticky feeling.

Last, the moisturizer, it has a creamy texture, maybe because  I tried the extra moisture restorative cream, I have normal to dry skin and my skin tends to get really dry specially on cold season, that is why i love moisturizers. This moisturizer is creamy and thick, after putting it on, but the tacky feel goes away after a few minutes, so it's good for me. 

This is just my first impression, and not a review, I just tried it once and will continue to use it and hopefully it delivers what it says it does:

-improves skin's firmness, elasticity and tone

-minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

-improve skin hydration

-skin visibly rejuvenated and younger

I'll be back to check the improvement after 30 days.😄

Short Meeting Team JLo

Last night we went to JLo's house to meet up with kuya Nath and ate Chei to discuss the checklist and what's the next steps to take after signing up to Arbonne.

So, we discussed the whys and the plans how to build our team, specifically me, cause I am under Jac's team as of the moment.

We are all excited about it, and we're positive that with focusing on our "why power" (motivation) and team work, we can make it happen, we can meet our goals..


Today, while I was chatting with Jac via messenger, she told me that their products arrive, and while talking to her, my son told me someone's knocking at the door, and yes.. I ran down the stairs as fast as I could. I don't want to miss the delivery! And there it is.. Our products arrived too!

I was excited, so I postponed grocery shopping at a later time to take pictures and videos of me unboxing the packages... Yaaay!!
